Gandy Dancer - Ann Arbor

We were a party of 5. we had a few apps, the scallops and crabcakes all wonderful aromen. I had the apple jack sea bass again a wonderful mix of aromen (which is slightly sweet). I had the wineberg salad of martha, which was super delicious (I really like pine nuts)! we shared desserts my favorites were the carrot cake and the key limette cake! beautiful atmosphere and a big server (jeremy)! it wasn't too busy a Sunday night.

Our daughter has brought to the gandy dancer for birthday. it is a beautiful and very unique building (former railway depot with stone walls, heavy wooden beams, fireplace and floor to cover windows with view of the gleise. somehow it makes a nice culinary experience seemingly casual and comfortable. the food was excellent from the warm rolls to the lumps crab cakes to the plank cooked salmon like the service. would definitely recommend.

First time visiting the Gandy Dancer. First, what we loved: the food was delicious… our waiter was impeccable, professional, enjoyable and personable. It was a weekly date and the location made it special. Great ambiance. Reasonable prices for exceptionally made food. Fantastic carrot cake!!!! Are we going back? Yes! Only caveat: unless you valet, parking is a little complex. My husband doesn’t like using valet and we parked across the street (public parking). Crossing the street it’s a little scary. But, I enjoyed the Gandy Dancer so much, I can’t wait to return.
