Produce Station - Ann Arbor

I used to really enjoy coming here, and I still love the food and the plants. However, during my visit today, I accidentally got caught on one of the display racks, and it tore a hole in my shirt. I was pretty disappointed. I mentioned it to the cashier, but they didn’t seem to care at all, and didn’t even bother to ask which display it was. A simple apology would have been nice. It’s unfortunate because they’re usually so friendly and considerate. I really liked that shirt, too. I just hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. If you visit, be cautious around the display racks! And enjoy the food and plants!

The staff is excellent, and the produce is of the highest quality. The milk from the local dairy farm is far superior to what you find at big box stores.

Fancy pants produce I've not seen other places. Prepared meals look incredible and are reasonably priced. Need fiddleheads, persimmons and morels?... this is your place.

Small grocery store with a good selection of high quality, premium, and local products. Great selections of wines, beers, cheeses, and mustards, along with ready-to-go sandwiches and premade meals like shepherds pie and lasagna. Only criticism is that the parking lot is very small and challenging to navigate during busy times.

Yes, its expensive. But I do enjoy their food. I especially like their sandwiches, although they use a very hard bread quite often, which is not my favorite.
