Bidra med feedbackMy wife and I have been here several times since it changed ownership and it?s just not nearly as good. Donuts are always dry and taste as if they?re several days old. There are much better places in Anoka and Champlin to get donuts.
From the outside it looks awesome, and maybe once it was. The donuts tasted like they were a week old. They would serve a much better purpose soaking up puddles than being eaten. To pair nicely with the bone dry donuts, they won't give cups of water. Thiswas the second time we went there too, so it was not just an off day. Response to owner underneath: Thanks for replying. If youare serious about customer satisfaction, I would recommend changing your donut recipe, or storage process, or whatever is dryingout the donuts. I literally took a bite of mine and had to take a drink of coffee just to get it down. It wasn't worth it to eatany more.
It was over and saw that they were open until 6:00. for Valentine's Day treats stopped! Definitely worth the stop! also ordered a cake for my sister's birthday that appeared online when I came home!
I grew up enjoying Hans, so I was really disappointed when it closed. When it reopened, it felt like a breath of fresh air. However, lately things seem to have changed. This morning, my husband went in right when they opened, and the donuts he got were stale and tasted old. Then today, my mother brought home a beehive, which was something we used to love from Hans. Unfortunately, the cake was dense and stale. It's such a letdown.
The donuts here are delicious, fresh, and have a great texture. It's amusing to see people show up late to a bakery and then complain about items being sold out—maybe try waking up a little earlier! Also, if a donut is stale the next day, that's actually a sign that it's fresh and has fewer preservatives. If that bothers you, maybe it's best to stick to getting your donuts from the grocery store.
