Lulu Pazzo Italiano - Ansonia

My fiancée ordered the Veal Milanese and it clearly says all on the top of the entrees served with potato and vegetable, both were not included. When I questioned that she said not all entrees apply to that. Well that's false advertising. Ok no problem... u lost a customer... I will post the menu to view

Just walked out of the place. It seems we are not valued as customers when you have to wait so long to have your order taken. The place wasn't even busy...

The food here is very good. Portions are large and the food is quality. Drinks are very good too. The restaurant is very large (but it doesn't look large from outside) there is a huge bar with lots of chairs, two dining rooms and a private party area. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and were not as fast to get to us on a busy Friday night but that can be expected. We had for appetizers the fried calamari which were very good, super tender, large portion and piping hot, the meatballs with ricotta (were so so) they tasted a bit frozen but the sauce was very good and the fried mozz super quality cheese with a light breading coating and very good marinara sauce for dipping. For dinner we had a side salad which was better quality than any side salad I had it was packed with olives, carrots, tomatoes etc. My son had a small pizza (that was huge) super crispy crust and very fresh ingredients We had two seafood pasta dishes (one was the mix of seafood in a red sauce and the other was Rockefeller Shrimp i think they call it) both were very fresh and nice portion. Bread was warm and crispy and everything was done so nicely. Drinks were refreshing and mixed well and the cheesecake sweet treat was amazing! Keep good work guys (they are under new management) If you choose a busy night make a reservation!

Had to go to Lulu Pazzo after my grand mother's funeral . The layout of the inside was nice and the side room was pretty decently sized. The waitress didn't come and take our drink order for at least 20 minutes- but judging by waiting tables for many years I can tell she was probably new. She didn't do a bad job, it just took a little while. The food was delicious- a large spread of pasta, salad, potatoes . One thing I will mention was the bread was SOOOOO GOOOOOD. They had a large carafe that you push down to dispense, but it was not properly put together. So when I went to push down to dispense the coffee, the entire carafe went everywhere- I am just thankful I was able to move quickly enough to not get burned. I am going to just guess that since we were a fairly large party, maybe they weren't exactly prepared that day. However, I would totally give it another shot if I was in the valley, as the food was delicious. I would actually go back just to eat the bread. hahahahahahaha

Was there Saturday night for a late dinner as we always do . The food, drinks and service has always been amazing but except for that night. Our waitress made us feel so unwelcome and was rushing us through our courses. We go out on a Saturday night to relax and enjoy and we don't need an attitude if you don't want to be there.
