Bidra med feedbackVery happy to see La Brasserie is still on fine form. Great food and a lovely welcome.
Very authentique, small and charming french brasserie harbour front. Enjoyed delicious late dinner which began with tasty Gazpacho which had a nice spiciness to it. I then had perfectly roasted and seasoned rack of lamb in delicate au jus along with a heavenly recreation of Joel Robuchon mashed potatoes. My husband enjoyed the catch of the day which was delicate and perfectly cooked. We ended sharing a very light, fresh dissembled lemon pie in a glass. The tres bistro decor was enhanced by the vrais french staff with whom we had a lovely chat. The small restaurant seemed filled with familiar locals generally a good sign as well! All in all french gastronomy sous les etoiles magnifique!
Super food, great service, a real treat, not to be missed!
Delightful host and friendly, efficient staff. Setting is magnificent and unique. Food was delicious and decidedly French. We had dinner and hope to return for breakfast and lunch. Highly recommended.
What a wonderful spot by the water in the English port! Everything was excellent, from the service to the food. It was also exciting to be there when one of the boats from the Talisker Whisky Rowing Challenge arrived at the port to finish their race.
