As for the maki, it was quite average. The spicy tuna roll consisted of four massive pieces, mostly rice with some chopped albacore, sriracha, and mayo. The Caterpillar Roll was slightly better, but the tempura shrimp inside were overly doughy. Honestly, the maki from Safeway is not only better but also cheaper. In summary, I will definitely return because the $5.95 Teri Box Lunch was fantastic and a real bargain. However, I wouldn't order any maki or sashimi again. One last note: the take-out service was good; I placed my order over the phone. They really should have an online menu, though. The ambiance is surprisingly beautiful and stylish, especially considering it's located in a somewhat rundown strip mall. There's a cool saltwater fish tank, orchids, replica Japanese furniture, paper screens, slate tile floors, and tasteful art and decor.
