Super high quality of food. Cosy attitude. Very friendly host staff.

We enjoyed a fabulous Valentine's meal here. Of course it was a busy night but the service was top end and the food really good. We enjoyed the set menu choices and mixed 2 to share. We were also treated to some extra Valentine goodies, a lovely touch. We were lucky enough to be seated at the best table with window view of the Roman arch way gate right beside us all lit up, very romantic in deed! The restaurant is built in to the Roman wall. Thank you for a wonderful evening. Highly recommended.
While planning a vacation that included stops we had previously visited back in 1996, I remembered a beautiful restaurant that we ate in when we were in the Old Town part of Aosta Vecchia Aosta. The restaurant is built around part of the old Roman wall of the city, and parts of the wall are visible in its decor. I made a reservation in advance before our trip, and Danilo Barbani was extremely helpful making sure everything about our visit was handled expertly. We loved learning about him and the restaurant’s history as we enjoyed the delicious meal and desserts we ordered, along with a superb wine choice Danilo helped us make. There was no attention to detail that was missed during our visit. Love this restaurant, and I'm surprised that there are any bad reviews.
