Gibson Inn Apalachicola

A so fabulous, picturesque hotel. great personal. eclectic bar. beautiful little restaurant. a hotel that was forgotten at the time. great seafood town. a fischerdorf with everything.

Great food and atmosphere. super busy during dinner hours. I really feel that the staff is paid and worked over. the server at dinner looked so exhausted.

A so beautiful guesthouse, which is quite unique on the way. in any case a small town like this should be on her way the panhandle.

Beautiful historic hotel in the heart of Apalachicola. Lovely local stores within walking distance, a water view, and only a few minutes from Saint George Island.

I recently had a girls trip with 3 of my closest friends and we stayed at the Gibson and absolutely loved it! It was like stepping back in time and felt so cozy. The staff was amazing and friendly, they greeted us with a smile every time we walked in, and they quickly exchanged our golf cart when we asked for one with more shade and all forward facing seats, we also couldn’t get one of the air conditioners on and they were in our room within one minute and helped us figure it out! We had breakfast at the restaurant and loved it. The only issue we had was the smell in our room, to me it smelled like stale cigarettes but my friends said mold. All of our clothes were stinky when we left, not sure if that’s just an old building thing or if there’s a bigger issue, but either way we will definitely be back. We loved exploring the area on the golf cart and everyone we met was so friendly, a lovely area with lots of fun and unique shops!
