Abbey Road Tavern - Apex

Bad pub in Apex. A bartender who is a thief and liar you from credit card fees, even if you pay money. He is too busy talking to his cronies at the bar and too busy on his phone to even give decent service! I had to call my order to the end of the bar! Greasest Brezel I've ever seen or had. A waitress who doesn't know what cutlery or napkins are! Totally absurd, embarrassing. Very sad. Worst is, I live and work so close! Never again. There are at least 3 other pubs that are so much better for honesty, service and food.

I have been coming to Abbey Road Apex since it opened. The quality of service is suffering. The bartender today spent most of her time talking with her friends and not paying attention to others at the bar. I had to approach her and her friends to get service. Also some of the bartenders play music so loud you can't even carry on a conversation. I will no longer be coming to this place.

I'll preface this review by saying that since Covid I've only gotten takeout from here. In my families experience it seems to be 50/50 whether our order is going to be prepared as requested. Most recently The fish and chips were overcooked to the point of being nearly inedible and the onion rings were burnt to a crisp. The burger I got was also well done when I asked for medium (I get that some cooking takes place after the grill but not to that extent). The time before that everything was great which is why I'm saying 50/50. It does seem like every other time there is an issue.

Loved the food. I always have to get fried okra when I'm there and was not disappointed! Beer was good. I was a little disappointed that the do not have flights but otherwise good place. Fish and chips was fantastic.

Wife and I just moved to the area and love trying new places. Went to Abbey Road for dinner on a Monday night. Small building, but plenty of TVs all the way around. Typical bar/tavern food burgers, wraps, wings, etc. Decided to try their jumbo wings, which ended up being regular sized wings. Kind of underwhelming, but the sauces made up for it. Fries as a side were tasty. My wife enjoyed her buffalo chicken dip, which came with tortilla chips AND pita bread. Service was great! Since we live down the road, this might become a go to place, especially during football season. Definitely want to try their burgers, wraps and onion rings next time.
