Bidra med feedbackMy friends and I visited Southern Peak Brewery after our weightlifting competition. They offer outdoor seating in addition to indoor tables, and there was live music playing. While the outdoor tables were nice, it was quite windy. They always have food trucks on site, and the empanada truck looked tempting, but we opted to just enjoy a couple of their beers. I tried the Peak City Pilsner and it was amazing, possibly my favorite so far. It was very refreshing with a pleasant hop finish. I highly recommend trying it!
During my visit to town to catch up with a friend, I decided to stop by a local restaurant for a quick drink on a Friday afternoon. My first impressions were positive – the restaurant was situated in a residential area with attractive architecture and a clean interior. I was impressed by the excellent service provided by Ashlynn, who was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. When I asked for beer recommendations, she gave me great suggestions that turned out to be spot on. The beer was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly, and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend this place.
I really like this restaurant and wish I lived closer to it. I hope they start serving kombucha again. The menu descriptions are spot on.
This brewery is located in small section in a neighborhood. I has the feeling of a neighborhood hang out. There was adequate parking and they had a food truck on the street on this Saturday. There is some outdoor seating as well as indoor. The lady working the bar was very friendly and asked if we lived nearby, what we were up to,etc... very personable. We had a flight of beers here as well. Unfortunately, only one was in the flavor range that we liked, but still a fun place to try a few different beers.
I wish I lived a little closer, because this would definitely be a regular spot for us! I'm jealous of the people that live in the neighborhood right next to the brewery, and can walk to it! We went on an unseasonably warm Saturday in January so the garage doors were all up, which meant plenty of seating inside and out! They were able to quickly put the doors down when it started raining later. The bartender was very nice, he answered our questions, tried to help us find beers we would like, and poured us some tasters. I had the Kolsch and the One Mile Round (pale wheat). I enjoyed both of them! This place is very family and dog friendly. We brought our 1 year old and at least half the people in the brewery had their dogs with them. Good to note, after 8pm it becomes 21+ only. They seem to have a lot of fun events, live music, and food trucks...so check out their schedule!
