Gingerootz Asian Grille - Appleton

The evening was delightful, and the food was great. However, I did have to remind the waiter to bring us our drinks.

The waiting staff here are excellent, and the dining experience is always delightful. I made a reservation through OpenTable, but the restaurant was surprisingly empty, with only one other couple at the next table. Our seats were awkwardly positioned between a swinging kitchen door and the bar curtain. Additionally, the bartender struggled to find the ingredients needed to prepare the martini listed on the menu. Goerootz no longer offers smaller, petite portions, which is disappointing, as the evening dinner servings are quite large but still delicious.

Your happy hour point system is a bit of a hassle. If we had all redeemed our points, we wouldn't have had dinner at all—do you really want that? It took at least half an hour after we received our main courses for our sushi to arrive, which is unacceptable. The waitress tried to make up for the delays by adjusting our drinks, but the bartender was struggling. She also offered a $20 discount on our bill due to the long wait time. Waiting an hour and a half for dinner is just too long.
