Mad Chicken - Appleton

I had the 4 pieces chicken channels with the standard cuts. The part was HUGE. I have to eat at the mall, but wounded to get a box because it was just too much food. And it was a great value for the price. The chicken was tender and juicy and tasteful, the frits were perfectly and hot boiled. I wasn't bad either. I was about 6 in the line and had my food within 5 minutes about. And the Lord behind the counter had stayed the patience of a saint, like a woman and her ill-behaved child in front, instead of moving to the side to leave other order. If you miss KFC because they have taken it from your city, this place will certainly help to scratch this itch.

Hands down best chicken ever! The seasoned breading on the chicken is amazing. Never once have been disappointed here. Workers are always friendly. The only place I will actually eat in the mall that’s worth my money.

The chicken is crispy and juicy without being greasy. They also have wonderful desserts that are a perfect compliment to a cup of coffee or boba. I will definitely be eating here again.

I generally don’t like greasy food that’s deep fried. That being said, this place is the exception for me. The owner has exemplary customer service skills and the food is fantastic. You do have a long wait for your food but that’s only because they make your order fresh every single time and they are quite busy most of the time. My only quibble with this place is the price. It’s too expensive for deep fried food. But it really is quite good due to the unique blend of seasonings and breading. Helpful tip: don’t take the food home. It’ll just be soggy and nasty. Even though I hate eating in the mall food court, I enjoyed my food 10 times more than when I tried taking it home. Try the deep fried Oreos!

Let's get right to it: how does this compare to the sandwich from Popeyes? Popeyes is still the king and you're better off there for both flavor and price. Got the spicy sandwich (no cheese) and waffle fries. The waffle fries were astounding with their seasoning. The sandwich though..some mixed feelings there. It's just too busy with everything you're trying to throw in, wayyy over seasoned and too salty, couldn't even finish the sandwich there was so much. The bun was top notch but the chicken is what needs to be dominant here and it just wasn't. I feel like there's some potential for this thing to improve.
