The chicken was cooked to perfection, and the rice was delicious. The cucumber salad was amazing! I just wish there was an option to skip the roasted tomato and chile so I could have more cucumber salad. Overall, the food deserves a 5/5!
I ordered the Argentinian Skirt Steak, which comes with fries, coleslaw, and a delicious Chimichurri pesto. The combination of the steak and fries is amazing when mixed together. I also enjoyed their Mother Land beer; it's quite good. Food rating: 4/5.
Intro:Been to Massis Kabob a handful of times and never had any issues. However, today was different. The food wasn 't the issue, it was the cashier who helped us SALVADOR H.Let me premise by saying I have never encountered a cashier as aggressive, hostile, and unprofessional as Salvador before. What happened:I finish placing my order then Salvador asks for my phone number, to which I give him my number. Then he mumbles it back to me and I decide to repeat it for him again to which he responds, That 's exactly what I just said. Next time just answer my question. Don 't be stupid and repeat yourself. Uhh... who does this guy think he is talking to paying customers let alone people like that? I brush it aside and I 'm glancing at the menu behind him and Salvador goes, why are you looking at me, you got a problem? I reply, I 'm trying to pay for my food, do you have a problem? And then he goes, I 'm just doing my job. You 're the one with the problem. It 's at this point, I 'm actually convinced to this hostility towards me is racially motivated. Clearly there 's a hidden agenda for why this cashier was seemingly normal taking orders from everyone but me being a multiracial individual. I will be filing a complaint to the Better Business Bureau because of this. Conclusion: CLAUDIA (manager of this business , if you 're reading this you seriously need to consider letting Salvador go. He 's a complete a hole and by affiliation it makes your business look bad. Judging by the previous comments I can see I 'm not the only customer who 's had a problem with this clown. Needless to say, I won 't be visiting Massis Kabob ever again. I 'll be going to Mediterranean Café on Shoppers Lane in Pasadena from now on. The food is better and less expensive, but best of all I won 't have to deal with cashiers who are RUDE AF. :
This place has really gone downhill! Service sucks. Walk up to the counter and the cashier (name is Salvador on the receipt) just stares at me. No greeting, no what would you like? , nothing. And of course, no thank you after ordering!Food isn 't good anymore either. Chicken kabob was tasteless! Don 't waste your money!
