Qin West Noodle - Arcadia

Very authentic and good Chinese noodles! I met the owner a couple of years ago in one store. He’s originally from Shanxi province, a Northern Chinese region famous for its noodles dishes. He went to college in my hometown Xiamen and then moved further South to Guangxi where Chinese Pho (fen is the regional specialty. Therefore, it’s up to you to which dishes to get. It’s good anyway. Appetizers are a great add-on. If you enjoy spicy food, this eatery is the very right place. I go with mild tho:

Ordered one of their $18 plus soup dish.Looked so lacking compared to the other customers dishes. Theirs so full looking soup dishes . Mine looked meager, lacking much in noodles and meat lamb) compared to theirs. So bizarre. First and last visit.Service was not too good either. For a small place, they were very unaware.

Beef noodle looked fantastic and I love the authentic atmosphere. Unfortunately, the beef was very gamey and quite smelly. Maybe that's how its supposed to be, but I probably wont be going back because of it.Food: 1/5
