Argy Top Shop Takeaway - ARGENTON

Argy's is a quiet local takeaway on a busy intersection, it had a few locals in so we stopped to pickup fish and chips. Unfortunately they do not offer their fish grilled, everything is only fried, and their crumbed version was a little bit overdone. However, good average fare for local takeaway.

I have stayed at several 4 and 5 diamond hotels across the US, from the Plaza in NYC to The Bar Harbor Inn you name it.

Average range on menu and service. A little shop opposite Argy pub, prices usual. Parking right out front

Argy Top Shop Takeaway is set back from a busy main road. It has lovely fresh cooked food highlighted by the usual choices of fish 'n ' chips OR burger 'n ' chips OR various other deep fried choices. Prices are low to middle range but excellent value for the quantities on offer. The venue offers a large range of value cold soft drinks and flavoured milks to complement one 's food choices. The current proprietors are rapidly adjusting their business to the wants of the regular clientele. They are lovely conversational people in the less busy times ... both keen to love their new home land.
