New District Brewing Company

The only reason I’m giving it four stars is that one of the bartenders was quite unfriendly. He had a scowl on his face the entire time, and even when we thanked him after ordering drinks, he just walked away without a word. It seemed like he’d rather be anywhere else. Perhaps he was having an off day, but it did put a bit of a damper on our experience. On a positive note, there was another bartender who was very friendly—he played some fantastic music from his playlist and even stopped to chat with us for a little while. Overall, I still recommend this place! I just hope that next time we’ll have a more pleasant interaction with both bartenders.

This place offers a great selection of beers. As a fan of sours, I appreciate that they typically have at least one excellent option on tap. However, the real highlight is its close location to the dog park and its dog-friendly atmosphere. It’s a fantastic spot for a Saturday outing with the family, including your furry friend!

I thought it was a great experience. I tried their beer flight after sampling their stout. Honestly, I wasn't particularly fond of any of the options in the flight, except for the double IPA, which stood out among the sour, Irish, and IPA selections. I usually enjoy sour beers, but this one felt like it was missing something. The Irish beer just didn't sit well with me, and the IPA was a bit too mild for my taste. That said, I encourage you to give it a try for yourself—what I may have overlooked, you might truly enjoy. However, I must say that the double IPA was quite good. While it didn't quite match the excellence of their stout, which was fantastic, it was still enjoyable. The service was excellent, and surprisingly, the brewery wasn't too busy on a Saturday night. Brew Food VA was there as well, serving an amazing chicken parmesan and Greek salad that really complemented the stouts. I guess I have a strong preference for stouts! Anyway, definitely check them out. My friends and I had a wonderful time.

We enjoyed this place. The beers tasted great. It is a small place with a warehouse feel. We had the Irish Red, Kolsch, and Porter. All were good. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great beer and location! Right next to the park! They also open up the brewery (garage door) on nice days. It does get very crowded, especially on weekends and nice days. There is limited seating and parking can be a pain on nice days/weekends. Dogs are allowed in the brewery but they need to be reviewed by the staff before entering! So if you like dogs, beer, and good talks this is the place for you!
