Village Inn - Arlington

This place truly embodies what you need for a one-night stay: a clean, quiet room right off the highway, making it quite convenient. The breakfast is simple but covers the essentials. I expected a few more options, but what they provide is really sufficient. Breakfast includes baked goods, toaster waffles, cereal, milk, juice, and coffee. Additionally, there’s a hardware store within walking distance, as well as a deli for food options.

The staff was absolutely wonderful and very accommodating. The prices for the rooms were quite reasonable. We stayed for one night and encountered an issue with our car, which required us to stay several hours beyond check-out. Harry, the owner, kindly allowed us to extend our stay without any hesitation. Sheri was incredibly friendly and made our wait for the car repairs much more pleasant. This would be a great little place to stay once COVID-19 is behind us. I am truly grateful for the comfortable room we had. Thank you!

As of late November, this restaurant is closed. Locals report that it shut down just before the 4th of July in 2015. There are whispers of something new moving in, but no one seems to know when it will happen or what kind of restaurant is planned. For now, it sits empty and dark.
