Bidra med feedbackFriendly, helpful staff member, good value and a nice place to grab a break. Being linked to the travel company, inevitably pictures and browsing material around the walls and tables had a global perspective. However the 'Hotel Inspector' would have had a fit.The walls were overcrowded with framed holiday pics and other visual depictions of travel experiences but with such a quantity they appeared chaotic and confused. Magazines at the coffee tables similarly stacked up with international themes. It didn't get in the way of coffee and cake but visually is messy and it wouldn't take much to make massive improvements at no cost.
Nice coffee, tea and cake two days in a row with a warm friendly atmosphere, staff are very friendly and a good place to plan our next overseas trip.
Hipster vibe in the mall !!! Keep walking and u will find them...... hidden gem. City food at a country prices Came for breakfast, was so good we came back for lunch!!!! Mediterranean chicken kebab wrap and hand crafted pie of the day. Fresh simple food with a modern twist. Menu changes daily. Great coffee served hot and when they say "in a mug".... it actually is!!!Big country style scones served warm with lashings of cream and strawberry jam. Welcoming, friendly service ..... can't wait to return!!!
We came across Cafe 195 in the heart of Armidale. It is nestled amongst other cafes in the vicinity, so were pleased that we picked this venue. The staff are willing to please and we had no complaints about the service. The venue has nice splashes of colour here and there, and generally has a nice feel about it - moreso than the other cafes that we looked at in that area.Three of us enjoyed a hot breakfast consisting of nicely-cooked scrambled eggs served with two pieces of toast each. I also ordered sides of grilled tomatoes and mushrooms. The mushrooms were very tasty due to being marinated in garlic. My companions agreed that their cappuccinos were creamy and very enjoyable. In addition, our food was reasonably priced. After enjoying a delicious breakfast at Cafe 195, I would highly recommend it and would definitely go back again.
This cafe is a little unusual in that it shares its space with a one-desk travel agency located at the front of the shop. Given this connection, it is not surprisingly that the walls are decorated with pics of exotic locales, postcards and bank notes and there is no shortage of travel brochures available for perusal. With regards the food and beverage side of things, it is the sort of place that is big on all-day breakfasts, but they also offer a diversity of other lunch options. I had the Moroccan chicken salad, which was excellent - lots of fresh and healthy ingredients including chick peas, baby spinach, avocado, sun-dried tomatoes and couscous. Coffee is fine, too.
