The Local House - Arnold

The restaurant closed early on Sunday due to lack of staff, but they made us aware of this and the delay in service. We wanted to stay anyway. Our server let us know before we ordered them to run out of Fritten and Tater-Tarts. We have burgers with chips that were very tasty. The burgers were cooked exactly as we ordered them. During our (expected) long meal, our server waited for us again and again and filled our drinks. Even with the lack of personnel it was a pleasant experience.

Great food! They offer not only burgers, but also salads, wraps, pizzas, and pasta, and more. Had a hard time deciding! Service was also great! Our waitress was very attentive and friendly.

Unfortunately, it took quite a long time for our sandwiches and fries to come out. There were signs around the restaurant indicating that they were short-staffed, but it wasn't overly crowded for a Friday afternoon, yet we still waited nearly 45 to 50 minutes. As a fan of pulled pork sandwiches, I had to give theirs a try. I was curious about the addition of strawberry jam on the sandwich. Although it sounds like an odd combination, it actually worked really well—I was impressed! My wife ordered the club sandwich and had enough left over to take home. I genuinely hope they can address the staffing issues because the food was quite tasty. We will definitely return next time!

I recently had a burger that had just a hint of spice, and it was fantastic. The French fries were excellent! I covered the bill for the three of us, which came to $43.78, including a $7 tip. Considering the quality of the food, which was some of the best I've had in months, it was well worth it. The wait staff was attentive and efficient. The restaurant was about 85% full, and our food took around 18-21 minutes to arrive. All in all, it was a great experience, and the burger was amazing!

The dinner was typical; the kids ordered burgers and chicken sandwiches, while Grandma had pork steak, potatoes, and bread pudding. Nothing stood out as exceptional or remarkable. Everyone spoke fluent English. The food was served hot and presented in a modern way. Drinks were promptly refilled, and masks were optional.
