Bidra med feedbackWe came for brunch was way too loud, and I love loud music, but it was too loud to even talk. Have a conversation.
Food is always great and consistent. Drink menu changes seasonally. It’s annoying that they charge you for water, though. You can get amazing dishes here that you can’t get at any other local restaurant.
One of my favorite restaurants, the cuisine is always fabulous the service superb.
Our server Lauren made our first visit to R Bar so incredible. The vibe of the restaurant for Sunday brunch was just perfect…laid back, cozy with a New Orleans feel. We had delicious, and I mean REALLY GOOD **** Mary’s, blue crab beignets and fried oysters to start. Outstanding. I then went on to have the banana foster French toast. I ate every morsel. It was not over sweet or heavy. My husband ordered Pork roll Benedict and my niece enjoyed Red Neck Eggs which were poached with fried green tomatoes. Everything was delicious.. We even saved a little room to split dessert… apple pie beignets. We will be back with friends and family. Just a wonderful experience from service to ambience to food and drink!
I always start with the Cacio de Pepe Deviled Eggs! They taste amazing and have a delicous, secret part 2! We added the Blue Crab Beignets this time and did not regret it. They were light and fluffy and the dipping sauce is delightful. Cocktails were spot on! You can tell all the juice and mixers are made by hand, yum! I start with Business and Pleasure and round off with an Abnormally Large Child. For my main I had the Fried Green Tomato BLT Po Boy with fries. I have gotten this before and will get it again. The fried tomatoes are crispy, the bacon is thick and crisp, the Creole Remoulade is just perfect and I can't help but eat the whole darn thing...no leftovers with that one!! R Bar is one of my favs in Asbury!!
