Bidra med feedbackThis place has made it into my top 3 places for curries in brissy! so much taste and so authentic. we have different types and we couldn't decide which of our favorit was because all were beautiful. the naan was a bit too fat for my lust and the Tandoori chicken we got as an appetizer was very dry. will come back for their curries.
Always have a delicious feed from hello india. my friend lived on the north side and that was our place. we occasionally return once a month or so (from south,) as we try to make our way through the menu. the young work there are beautiful and always very accommodating. that makes my top 5 Indian places to eat in brisbane. no Indian culinary experience is without nan brot, we decide for the garlic and cheesy nan, and in the round they can not go wrong with any of the curries!
This restaurant is a great option for enjoying traditional Indian cuisine. The portion sizes are generous and reasonably priced. While I personally found the dishes to be a bit mild and lacking in spiciness, they were still flavorful and enjoyable.
We dined at Hello India last night on a cool, rainy evening, which seemed like the perfect time for Indian cuisine. Our meal included meat samosas, tandoori prawns sizzling on a platter with onions, apricot chicken curry, and a plain naan. All of the dishes were delicious, especially the naan, which was the standout. The medium curry had just the right amount of spice, and the prawns were served generously (about five each). Rice came complimentary with the curry, so we didn't need to order any extra. The samosas and prawns were accompanied by a small side salad of lettuce, tomato, and cucumber. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and were pleased to see Hello India maintaining its high standards. The restaurant is BYO wine, which was a nice touch. Thank you, Hello India!
This restaurant used to be excellent, with delicious food. However, according to another reviewer, the restaurant is now under new management as of last June. This seems to explain the decline in quality of the food recently. The Tikka Masala, which used to be outstanding, is now subpar. Additionally, my Jalfrezi had an excessive amount of frozen peas and corn added to it, which is not traditionally part of the dish and was poorly cooked. Unfortunately, the last two times we dined at this restaurant, the food was disappointing and as a result, we will not be returning.
