My wife and I are visiting Asheville for our anniversary. For dinner we wanted a local restaurant serving steak and The Admiral delivered in spades. The overall service was excellent, the ambiance inviting, and the food perfect from beginning to end. I ordered the trout and the risotto while my wife ordered the ribeye and a salad. The risotto was excellent, rich and flavorful; it was nearly as good as the risotto I had at a Michelin-starred restaurant in Switzerland. The trout was very good but not exceptional. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the steak and I snuck a few bites, too. It had a nice crust, just the right amount of seasoning, and was cooked as ordered. The zucchini fries, if that's what you want to call them, were so good we nearly ordered a plate of them. We would happily come back given the opportunity. Thanks for a great dinner! The food is incredibly inspired and absolutely delicious. The drinks are unique, and the bar staff (the kitchen and servers too) are so talented, warm, and welcoming. We dine here every time we are in Asheville, and it never disappoints. It is among the best dining experiences in Asheville. Service: Dine in

Will probably never come back to this establishment. Chefs are drinking on the line, scratching their heads, and rubbing their faces in an open kitchen concept. Steak was seasoned well with a nice char.
