Chupacabra Latin Cafe - Asheville

My son and I found this place randomly and it was amazing. I ordered the shrimps with garlic and avocado and it was simply amazing. My son ordered the fish and fries and he loved it. Prices are quite reasonable. The atmosphere of the place is simply great. Very welcoming and friendly. I really like it and would recommend it.

It's fine food, not Tex-mex. Handmade cocktails, no punching machine. And a host with most.

Excellent food. Located in the Reynolds Mountain complex in North Asheville; Chupacabra has a nice selection of dishes that range in price from moderate to expensive. The Chupacabra burrito $10) is huge, flavorful and worth the price. If offered, I highly recommend the Krispy Kreme bread pudding...to die for!

The staff here is incredibly friendly. We visited last year, and the bartender even remembered my husband's name when we returned! He also crafted a lavender lemonade for me, which isn’t on the menu. The food is fantastic as well! I really enjoy the seafood dishes. The calamari taco is brilliant, and the shells are my favorite part. In short, we will definitely be coming back!
