Edison, Craft Ales Kitchen - Asheville

As travelers, we had high hopes for this restaurant. The service and atmosphere met our expectations. However, the food we enjoyed did not live up to our previous dining experiences. Unfortunately, I do not think I will be returning.

The restaurant was just okay. However, it was still too expensive. The service was good, but when I ordered the barbecue sauce, I was expecting a red sauce, not the one that was provided for my pulled chicken sandwich. The tomatoes on the sandwich were not ripe at all. The French fries were overcooked. Overall, the dining experience was disappointing.

The drinks took a long time to arrive, just like the food. The server got one of the drink orders wrong and brought the incorrect wine. Our server was pleasant and apologetic, explaining that the kitchen was busy. He asked if our appetizers had been served yet, but they came out along with the main course. One person in our group had a gluten intolerance and ordered a burger with a gluten-free bun and fries. However, when the food runner brought her plate, she noticed that the fries were not gluten-free. It was a disappointing experience overall, considering the price of the food and the service.

View was incredible but unfortunately the service was poor and the my salmon had to be returned as it was dry and over cooked and then they still charged me full price!! Very disappointing for what we hoped would be a lovely evening meal.

Prices high for quality, in my opinion. Salad was okay, and soup was not the best.
