Bidra med feedbackPreface: we only got appetizers and drinks we shared the lobster nachos which were definitely the best. the chorizo potato empanada came in second. and we also had the ceviche sampler. the best one in our opinion was the ceviche del mercado, the other two were nothing crazy. the drinks were scrumptious. our server was very knowledgeable and personable. the ambiance is very nice, chill, and dim. it's definitely pricey, but if you want to go out for a special occasion this could be the right spot.
This is always a top-notch restaurant in Asheville. The menu changes frequently enough that you never get tired of the same dish but they keep some of their classics around all the time. Excellent food and excellent staff!
Best meal from a week long visit in Asheville. The lobster nachos were delicious. My wife had scallops that were good. I had the tenderloin which was outstanding. Will make this a regular stop every time we are in the area.
Limones has been a 20 year fixture in the Asheville culinary world, and keeps getting better. First, the only negative is that service when you initially sit down can seem a little slow, but this is because that have a lean, but very experienced and tenured team, that once they engage you're going to have a superior experience. The portions, both apps and main, are generous. Try the specialty margaritas (recommend the cucumber jalapeño on the rocks, but add salt), and a reasonably priced wine list. Make a reservations, show up early and have a cocktail in their bar that they added a couple of years ago.
The BEST bread pudding ever. We sat at the bar and loved the experience. Our favorites on the menu were the chili rellenos, ceviche, and the short rip tacos. Also try the corn on the cob! Along with food, the jalapeño cucumber margarita was out of this world.
