Big Al's Drive-in - Ashland

So rude.. i have been a customer for years. today i placed an order, i knew the person taking the order was questionable. I went to the restaurant, if that is what you want to call it. of course the order wasn’t taken and the crew couldn’t get off their butts to assist me. Maybe five or ten minutes. perfect. i will never go again and i will tell everyone in ashland to do the same. shame on you!

It 's hard to find a place that serves MALTS v shakes these days. But Big Al 's has 'em in all flavors. HHurrah! We had the Chilli cheese fries a chili relleno, a couple of green enchiladas, 2 chocolate malts among other things. Obviously our eyes were bigger than our stomachs! But we packed it home and feasted for days. I 'm glad we happened upon Big Al 's. Great Mexican food. I plan to become a regular. Dr. John

Friendly service. Bad (burnt) deep fried food. In the same order of fries some will be white (uncooked) and some will be so over done there is only a dark brown crust with no potato left inside. Don't even think about the fish.

Love this place! A real Ashland institution for many decades. It's a classic old-school diner vibe here, and the menu has tons of yummy comfort food- well beyond the standard fare for a burger joint. And since it's Ashland- there are even vegetarian and vegan choices. My favorite part is how friendly and welcoming everyone is here, they really do put the customer first. Call ahead with your order if you're in a rush, they don't mind at all. Look for them on DoorDash as well.

Perfect for burger cravings lol. I had a long day and needed to stop somewhere for food before going home and I heard a lot of good things about this place. I got the bean burger because I was genuinely curious. It was so good. It had refried beans, pico de gallo, cilantro, and cheese and all the works. Fries were warm, malt was delicious. Thank you
