Bidra med feedbackThis deli is awesome!! It's my favorite deli on Ditmars blvd. The employees here are so nice, and I love the fact that they're open 24/7. They make breakfast and lunch sandwiches that look pretty good as well. They have anything you can imagine, phone chargers, shampoos, shavers e.t.c
Horrible people with nasty attitude. They also touch food with their bare dirty hands and no gloves.
This was easily one of the worst deli experiences I've ever encountered. I stopped in for a quick breakfast sandwich before heading out to Long Island and ordered a ham, egg, and cheese on a croissant and one on a roll. The staff repeatedly asked if we wanted mayo, which I appreciated as an effort to get our order right. However, when we got to the car and started driving, we discovered our sandwiches didn’t have any egg in them at all. To make matters worse, I had also bought a pre-made Dunkin' Donuts mocha coffee drink, only to find it was expired. That was just money down the drain since there was no way we were going back. If you're looking for a quick breakfast, I recommend finding a different place.
I strongly advise against visiting this establishment. I have been a customer of this deli for many years but recently started going to a different deli across the street. After two weeks, I returned to Eli's because the other one was closed. Sammy, who usually works there at night, noticed my absence and likely knows the reason behind it. After spending $20 on my purchases, I wished him a good night, and he responded with something in Bangladeshi. When I asked him what he said, he told me it meant "good night." However, in the seven years I've been going there, he has never spoken to me in his native language before. After looking it up online, I discovered it has an offensive meaning. This was the last time I will ever spend money at that place, and I hope others choose to avoid it as well. The staff is unkind, the prices are high, and there are plenty of better options in the neighborhood.
The service was incredibly rude! The man I encountered was truly the most unpleasant and miserable person I've ever met. I couldn't help but feel sorry for him. He was arbitrarily raising prices and insisted that I pay $10 for a beer that was actually $3.50 simply because of the card I had. I would recommend avoiding this place altogether.
