Sweet Spot - Astoria

The Sweet Spot is an excellent place to celebrate a private party. The staff there offer you and your party and are very attentive to your guests. The food and the drinks were great! I planned a birthday party for my husband at Sweet Spot and I was very impressed and happy with this place. Overall, I highly recommend it.

The food in Astoria is perfect. All we tried from the oysters and lobsters to meat and desserts was a pure pleasure to eat. The food also had a wide selection of flavors and textures that made the meal as a whole simply perfect. The design and layout of the restaurant and the service was also beautiful.

Good food, well done. Some dishes not perfect, like the seemingly popular Toast Astoria, we found the butter fried bread way to fat and not much to contribute to the whole dish. Frikassé and the Ofxilé, the beautifully prepared table side was delicious. Unfortunately, we went well past our a total of 1.5 h for food, so we were unable to order desserts. Maybe next time.

Ambiance Exquisite interior, with a lot of different settings of tables, everything from small two seating tables to Chambre Séparée. Service The service was really something extra, they really did over deliver. The food We tried a lot of different dishes and everything was superb. The only thing that didn’t live up to its name was the meat. It was sadly kind of dry and the fries served with it was cold. But all in all that didn’t matter so much due to everything else was so good.

Late review. Trendy, vibrant atmosphere, delish food, stiff but great service. Only thing I did not like was the high acidity of the pepper cream sauce that was paired with the tenderloin flambé. But other than that, you get exactly what you pay for.
