Pita Pan - Athens

This restaurant is located at 31 Iofontos Street in Athens, just 6 minutes from the Hilton. There is another location near Syntagma Square where we had just arrived in Athens and were feeling tired and hungry. We had been recommended to try the pita bread near the hotel for a quick and delicious meal. The restaurant serves Greek fast food, and we ordered a chicken souvlaki (which was good but not the best we've had), tasty hummus, fries with tomato and cheese (though a bit more cheese would have been better), and two excellent salads. However, the highlight of the meal was the enormous pitas filled with pork and bacon with sweet mustard sauce, pork with yogurt and cucumber sauce, and chicken with Caesar sauce. We left feeling satisfied and had a great dining experience.

The highlight of our meal was the gyros: huge pitas filled with pork and bacon with sweet mustard sauce, pork with yogurt and cucumber sauce, and chicken with Caesar sauce. We were very satisfied with our meal and enjoyed it immensely.
