YUM YUM YUM and YUM! What a pleasant surprise to discover this breakfast spot after finding Mama’s Boy full and frustratingly lacking parking. They have ample parking spaces, a rarity for restaurants closer to downtown. The menu selection exceeded our expectations. The biscuit, fried chicken, and thick-cut bacon were even better than Mama’s Boy (which was shocking, as I usually enjoy their chicken goat cheese biscuit and vegetable scrambler). As a doula who frequently eats out and works through the night, I need a hearty breakfast and strong coffee to keep me going. I often write reviews for fellow weary travelers, and I give this spot a solid 5 stars! The coffee was excellent, and I appreciated being able to add my own sugar and cream. The staff was exceptional and friendly, even behind their masks. For those who like a kick, try the sriracha honey drizzled over the perfectly cooked chicken thigh. The bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich was a classic favorite, especially with crispy bacon. They even cooked my egg with a runny yoke just how I like it! I can’t wait to return. For those who travel for work, this spot surpasses others like The Watch in Charlotte, NC and local favorites J. Christopher’s, with its rare parking in Five Points and superior coffee and traditional breakfast fare. Kudos to the cook!

This restaurant is an amazing spot for biscuits. I have tried everything on their menu and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend trying their daily specials. I recently had the Asian jackfruit biscuit and it was absolutely amazing! The potato bites were also delicious. The atmosphere is great and the service is very friendly.

This is a wonderful restaurant that prioritizes the use of organic ingredients, including organic flour. The focus on using organic ingredients is especially important in light of concerns about glyphosate poisoning.

The food was delicious. It also was a great deal because after enjoying the cookie and grits, I was too full to eat anything else!
