Mcdonald's - Athlone

Just what you expect from any McDonald's restaurant.

I not love fastfood bet location good.2small for this town.

This very cool guy gave us very nice food and service.

Pretty good service, good portions but food was made quite haphazardly.

It's been a while since I last had a macdonalds breakfast, and always and still do love their double sausage and egg macmuffin breakfast, and have thus far never been disappointed with It's presentation ,taste,or service, but my recent trip to sligo macdonalds, was a little dreadful, I used the drive through, my order was taken without any fuss, but it was like talking to a robot, no pleasantries no banter nothing, came to pay, exactly the same, almost had the feeling of being on a conveyor belt, my money was taken and the window was closed on me, ok maybe when I receive my food it will be more friendly, no, my food was given me, I was asked if I needed any sugar or milk or sauces, which I did, and I was sent on my way. It really lacked any friendliness or welcoming, I sort of felt like I was a burden to their day, it's the first time I've felt like this on leaving macdonalds, and I hope it's a one off, I hope your experience is better then the one I had.But I really do enjoy macdonalds breakfast, and I will continue to have them......
