Bidra med feedbackDid a take out with one of the food delivery apps. The order was prepared and dispatched really quickly. Food was pack nicely, stayed warm when it arrived. Loved the Blackened Salmon burger. Had so much ingredients in it, there was such a food mixture of flavors. The little burger was also cooked well, tasted really good with cheese. The fries were decent, just too thick for my liking. But I’d happily order from this restaurant again.
Best burger I had in Atlanta, and also in a very nice food court, this is an example of how it should be done. You can pick from a huge selection of craft beers at the bar inside and have it with your burger. Does not get better than this
I had lunch here today and had overall a hot/cold experience. The customer service was great when I ordered and the food came out quickly. I was disappointed to learn they didn’t have any ketchup to go with my fries but it turns out I didn’t need any because the fries were nearly inedible. If you’re looking for good fresh, hand-cut French fries, these are not it. They were bland, starchy, and undercooked yet soggy at the same time. The cheesesteak was delicious, the bread was great and the meat and cheese were salty and gooey in all the right ways. All-in-all, not a bad lunch, just a bit of a bummer on the fries front.
I tend to judge a meal based on how often I think about in the days and weeks after. The Korean Philly at Fred’s spontaneously comes to mind regularly is simply one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten.
With a name like Fred's Meat Bread, the place better know what they're doing with, well, meat and bread. In other words, sandwiches. And Fred's Meat Bread seems to be doing quite well in that area. My wife and I visited Fred's Meat Bread whilein the Atlanta to catch the Braves vs. Dodgers series. I ordered the Goodfellas Cheesesteak. It comes with ribeye, onions, provolone, tomato, and cherry peppers. It was perfect! The bread was soft and packed with chopped ribeye steak and meltedcheese. The onions were rather thickly sliced, but I enjoyed them that way. My wife ordered the Burger Stack. She said it wasvery good, and especially liked the addition of bread and butter pickles to the burger. We also shared orders of garlic friesand Old Bay fries. Both were delicious! Each came with a sauce, the garlic with ranch and Old Bay with tartar. However, we likedthe taste of the fries so much we ate them without the sauce. Fred's Meat Bread has limited counter seating, and we enjoyedeating our meal while watching the cooks prepare more Philly cheesesteaks for other customers. As we were sitting there, severalother people noticed our food and asked about it. That's when you know you're doing it right, when people see what comes fromthe kitchen and want it for themselves. But the thing about Fred's Meat Bread is that their food tastes as good as it looks.
