Galaxy Diner - Atlanta

The atmosphere is small, open, and cozy. One would expect the service to be comfortable and welcoming. However, I was surprised to find no one at the register to take orders. After waiting for someone to show up, I finally placed my order. Despite several employees passing by, none offered to assist me. I waited for my food for 20 minutes without any updates or even a glass of water. When my breakfast finally arrived, the toast was limp and the overall experience was disappointing. I left feeling frustrated and I have not returned since.

This diner is perfect for those craving delicious, classic American comfort food. Don't expect anything fancy, but the country fried steak is out of this world. The staff are also very attentive. Fun fact - they filmed scenes from the Tonya Harding movie here!

The food was good. Sitting was a little confusing during a busy Saturday lunch. After that, the food was good and the service was friendly. They checked at reasonable times. They were helpful and not rushed how busy it was. Nice place.

Best place for breakfast! The Lox and onion omlette is my favorite. My kids love the silver dollar pancakes. My husband loves the French toast. Morning wait staff is far superior to evening but we've never had a bad experience there. The food always comes out fast and delicious!!!

Love it!. I love the Galaxy Diner. I eat there all the time... about three times a week. The food is really good and the atmosphere is great. It is a family house and the owner is always there. I need to know him and the staff over the years and they'll welcome me with my first name when I come in. Because it's a diner, they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner all day. You have daily specialties and Tuesdays are Mexican day and Saturday is Steak Night. Yum! You have Matzo ball soup every day and it's so good. I recommend this restaurant.
