Bidra med feedbackThis is good for somewhat late night pizza. They have pretty big slices and a myriad of other things aside from pizza. It's New York based so you going to get a lot of that when you come in. But you can go from pizza to pasta to sandwiches or calzones. It's really all across the board! It actually has a few parts to the building. Isn't out side patio area that is really good if it's nice. There's the inside where you order, which has a nice lot of seating. And it actually has another part of the building that you wrap around to see another bar and seating area. Years ago I used to go back there in that wraparound spot and play poker during poker night so it actually was pretty spacious. Be aware that depending on what time you go they will likely have a special for you. I came around lunchtime so they had ones specific for that time. I got to meet lover and a Philly steak slice in the pictures, and they were good. If you wanted a pizza, it's going to take some time to get to you even though the pizza is already pretty much done but they have to throw it in the oven to heat it up to your liking. I ask questions about the pizzas but then I'll display in a lady was super nice and helped a lot with that.
Service was okay. Ambiance is super fun and has lots of bright signs. Food was okay but nothing special. Very convenient as they open really late, but I wouldn't come here otherwise. I got the margarita pizza slice and my husband got the buffalo chicken slice. Mine was definitely better but had way too much garlic. 7/10. His slice had dry sauce, dry chicken, but good crust. 4/10. Additionally, he got Buffalo lemon pepper wings. The sauce had no flavor and the actual chicken was dry. 3/10. I got the Jamaican beef patty. 7/10. Paid about $45 for all of it. Overall, would come if late. Otherwise, there are much better spots.
Gino is always a late night favorite. They are usually open till about 5 AM so after every event, I love to stop by and get a slice of pizza. Gino's is a small establishment nothing too big but not too small. There is some seating on their patio. They're not just pizza. They also have pastas that are really good wings, mozzarella cheese sticks, and they also serve. (We had a lot of good btw) The girls that work at the cash register and answer the phone for to go orders are always super sweet and by this point, they know me and my best friend by name so whenever we are in there, they smile wave and bring us to the counter to get our order ! They are super friendly even the guys that the girls in front are super busy they ask us what we're getting since we're regulars and start on our order and I love that The restaurant is lit up pretty nicely so that you can see everywhere since it's such as close seating. They have bright lights to make sure that everyone is able to see since this is a late night spot. A lot of people come in drunk after a party or night out at the bar so usually you see a lot of people coming in and out for Uber eats and DoorDash so as you can see in a picture there's not a lot of people sitting, but there were quite a few people waiting. And as far as I know, this is the only one that they have in Atlanta. I've been coming here for about six years now. It is right off of Piedmont and Cheshire Bridge. If you ever get the chance to get in the area, please go to Gino's especially if you are leaving some party or bar and need a late night fix, Gino's is the place to go!!
Plentiful parking. Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and was helped at the counter by a welcoming nice woman who gave us ample of time to check out their extensive menu. I got the lasagna pizza and a slice of the Sicilian. Both were delicious. In fact, I've been thinking about this pizza since I left so I obviously can't wait to revisit! Went to the bathroom, it was clean. It looks like they also had an attached patio area that may serve cocktails. They have HUGE diner style slices of cake too, I'll be grabbing one next time I'm in.
Recently moved to the area and passed by Gino's several times before deciding to stop in one day on the weekend for lunch. My partner and I walked in soon after they opened and we're immediately greeted. The cooks were putting out freshly baked pizzas already so we decided to order 6 different slices to sample many of the specialty slices. The pizza was incredible! Easily some of the best we've ever had. They even cut the pizza slices in half so we could share everything. I can't speak for the vibes of this place during the later hours but I highly recommend showing up for the memorable flavors. We will certainly be coming back to try more and to sample their decadent-looking desserts.
