Roc South Cuisine - Atlanta

UNCOOKED fish- Fish was cooked too hard on the outside. I break it to eat- WET cornmeal all throughout the fish. At least I know what NOT to come back to..... .......... You can have my seat.

Roc South is a long-standing establishment that I have visited in every season and each time has been a unique experience. While I have never had a negative experience, each visit has been different. One memorable occasion was when I dined with a large group and had a fantastic time. Although the menu had changed since my last visit, the food was still delicious. Oxtails are not always available, but when they are, I highly recommend trying them as they are incredibly tasty. The mac and cheese is consistently outstanding and always on the menu. During another visit, I sat at the bar with my cousin and struck up a conversation with a couple of girls next to us, making new friends in the process. The seafood egg rolls were exceptional as always. The outdoor seating area is picturesque, offering a chance to see beautiful people, luxury cars, and perhaps even celebrities. What sets this restaurant apart is the friendly and professional staff, as I have never had a negative interaction with them. Additionally, the bar service is top-notch. I highly recommend giving Roc South a try as soon as possible.

Listen!!!! Roc south never disappoints me. This time I had the blackened salmon and I must say it was amazing. The service was once again spectacular. The restaurant always has good vibes and good music. Keep it up roc south!!!

First time here and definitely will be back again!!! Ordered take out and it was simple and easy. Got the catch dinner that came with 2 sides. I got Mac and cheese with collard greens and a side of yams. The wait time was 15 min and it was very accurate. The space and environment is awesome not too loud and friendly staff. Ok so details of food. Catfish is crunchy and not too over seasoned. Collard greens. But I think they were turnip. Still good yam’s amazing and the Mac and cheese was the creamiest I’ve ever had. That was amazing. Here is a small plate I made before bed.
