Bidra med feedbackI heard great things about this restaurant, and I'm so glad I decided to check it out. The mussels were enormous and absolutely delicious. They have a special on mussels every Wednesday, which is definitely worth trying. The trout with capers was bursting with flavor, and the salmon was cooked perfectly with a nice crisp. The staff was outstanding and very friendly as well. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant, especially since the prices were quite reasonable.
The food was decent during my visits. On my first trip, I ordered the F&B burger with a Caesar salad. The burger was cooked perfectly, but I found it a bit bland and had to add ketchup for extra flavor. The Caesar dressing was a departure from the traditional version, and I’m still unsure if I liked it. The burger and salad combo cost $16. On my second visit, I opted for the lunch special, which included a half Lamb Sandwich and White Bean Soup. The bread and rosemary aioli were fantastic, but the sandwich itself was just okay. The soup lacked flavor, so I ended up adding salt and pepper. For dessert, I tried the brie cheesecake, which was unique compared to a classic cheesecake; it was thicker, slightly tart, and creamier. The lunch combo was a steal at $10, while the cheesecake cost $12. Overall, I would recommend giving F&B a try at least once. I appreciated the atmosphere and the variety on the menu.
We accidentally discovered this fantastic restaurant while we were lost, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. You have to try the bread plate—the bread is absolutely perfect. The goat cheese tart was creamy and flaky, and the arugula salad provided a sharp contrast that complemented it beautifully. The chicken ballotine with mushrooms and saffron was juicy and full of flavor. The desserts were exceptional. We shared two and our amazing server, Bomba, even offered us a sample of a third. The brie peach cheesecake is a game-changer for cheesecake lovers. The food was delightful, but what made the experience truly special was Bomba, who provided excellent recommendations and was a joy to interact with. We will definitely be back!
Had an amazing experience here!! Was seated immediately by the window and ate some good food. We ordered the iceberg spinach salad, white bean soup, and duck leg as the appetizers. Followed by seared scallops and rack of lamb which were both as good as they look in the pics. Absolutely loved everything down to the apple tart dessert. Highly recommend as a cute date spot.
I live in the neighborhood, and just stopped in for the first time for a light dinner. The crowd was casual and friendly, a very welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. I enjoyed the mussels with the delightful bread butter. But the best thing about this place is the service. The wait staff really took care of me, not caring if I wasn 't 'their ' customer, they all worked together, which is kind of rare. The French owner is friendly and proud of his place, and deservedly so.
