Sonic Drive-in - Attalla

The staff at this restaurant is very friendly. However, I am not pleased with the fact that the car hops often keep our change or do not offer it back to us. They claim they need to retrieve it and then never return. This situation occurs frequently. We decided to test them out and only one car hop actually brought our change back, so we tipped her a $100 bill for her honesty.

The food at Sonic is consistently excellent. All dishes were served hot and fresh, and the staff was very professional.

I went to get a couple of shakes at around 8:10 pm and the restaurant was quite busy. Despite pushing the red button, we waited over 15 minutes without anyone taking our order. The waiter asked us three times if we had ordered the items she was carrying, to which we responded no each time. The staff seemed very disorganized and confused that night. After waiting a few more minutes, we decided to leave and went next door to Jack's for a shake, which only took about 5 minutes from ordering to receiving. It seems that good help is hard to find right now.

My shake was very good, I just wish Sonic would get the big straws like Jack's and Steak and Shake uses for their milkshakes. It would be so much easier to drink
