So glad I met up for lunch with a friend who lives nearby and discovered this little gem. We both decided to try the Basil Fried Rice, which was recommended on one of their menus (online, I think? . I have to say that it's one of the best I've had. Blue Moon is definitely my go to if I'm not in the mood to hang out on the East side of PVD. This spot is definitely more intimate and far from the hipster crowd. There's parking available at the front and side of the building. Service is friendly. The waitresses will sing to you for your birthday, which was sweet to watch at another table. There's also a small bar for drinkers. The dining area isn't huge, but they were able to accommodate a large group of about 10 or so people when we arrived. Lunch specials are available during the week at a lower price than dinner entrees. One thing that was a little off was the fried ice cream dessert, which was served in a tiny glass cup with no embellishments (plain with no whipped cream, cherry, and the usual drizzle of syrup on top and a bottle of chocolate syrup a very homestyle serving! Lol Overall, I highly recommend for the items recommended on their menu (most likely the chef's specialties . I'll be returning soon for the Basil Fried Rice!
