Strings Italian Cafe - Auburn

The portion of eggplant was generous, but it was tough to cut and chew with no flavor. It seemed old, unlike the tender and easily cut eggplant I have enjoyed at this restaurant before. I couldn't even cut it with a knife, despite needing help.

Wow, the food was absolutely delicious and we were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions. The service was fantastic as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience.

I have been coming to this restaurant with my daughter and family since she was 4 years old, at their Roseville, CA location. My daughter is now 30 years old and we have been visiting this location on and off for the past 10 years. The management is wonderful and the food is excellent.

I ordered Natalie Specisl with Shrimp for anaddit charge of $5. Recei with out shrimp. Portion sizes are getting smaller with less of the topping like mushr artichokes on the Natalie Special. Husband ordered Fettuccine Chicken Alfredo With Salmon. Ordering is confusing because the order asks for a protein, his had both chic and salmon. The chicken is rubbery. We paid over 70 for a so so meal.

Seafood pasta was bland, garlic bread was bland, no flavor at all. Pizza was good, had fresh ingredients, and crust was cooked well.
