Weepin' Willies - Auburn

I just had a roast beef sub made to order by Joe, and it was fantastic! They cook the roast beef in-house to a perfect medium-rare. The bread is amazing, and the toppings are generous. I will definitely be returning!

I wanted to get some cucumbers but my mom wouldn’t let me even though it would cost maybe a dollar for what I wanted. I don’t know his name, but the guy working there was super friendly and he overheard that I wanted cucumbers, and he added a little bag of them to my mom’s order for free!!!! THIS is how you do customer service, 12/10 ?

What an interesting place! This great deli offers creatively crafted subs that are well-executed. It’s a bit of a mixed bag, as they also function as a mini market, which is intriguing given their proximity to a grocery store. We've visited a couple of times and plan to return. I’m deducting one star for organization—not really a setback, just an area to improve in order to earn that fifth star. In my opinion, the team at Willies should consider giving themselves more room for efficient food preparation. You have the space, so use some of it to help your team. Streamlining the sub-making process could lead to quicker service and, ultimately, more customers. You've done a great job in a challenging environment; taking a fresh look at it might yield even greater rewards. Just my two cents! I’m looking forward to my next sub from Willies.

I had an unpleasant experience with the staff, who were quite rude. They seemed unwilling to accommodate my request for the sandwich to include all the listed meats. One of the employees even remarked to her coworker, “Oh, do I have to put sausage in the sandwich too?” after overhearing me mention what the sign said should be included. Additionally, I was surprised to find that they charge an extra $2 to $3 fee for credit or debit card payments, which appeared after I had already paid the amount on the receipt. I signed for the total on the receipt, only to later discover the extra charge in my bank account. On a positive note, the food is excellent, so I will likely return.
