Oak & Vine at Springside - Auburn

The lisas (both server were called lisa) we are so helpful and delightful to speak with. the gas house is in a beautiful environment and eating was delicious. a lot, but amazing. I had the corn-chowder and it was so good and filled. the best I ever had. all employees at the springside inn, where the restaurant is located, were enthusiastic. it was a special place for us to spend our wedding anniversary.

Here before a show in the merry go round. in the past had always had wonderful experiences here, this time not so much. that was terrible. I ordered boneless wings that were barely warm and extremely overboiled (I had to use a knife to cut them). my friend ordered the mussel starter for her meal, she couldn't even eat it. only one meal from three was edible. the waitress told us that they were given shorthand what I can understand, but eating was just disappointing. I will not go back soon.

We scheduled our reservation and should have had plenty of time to make it to our show. The service was very slow and it wasn’t even that busy. We had less than minutes to rush through our meal leave quickly to make it to the show on time.

Great service and food. My favorite pre theater dining spot. Such a tranquil setting. Nice variety on the menu!
