Kerby's Koney Island - Auburn Hills

I would describe this place as just okay. The food is decent for a food court, but the fries have been undercooked and served cold. During my visits, the prices have remained consistent, yet my bill varies each time, and the cashier gives a mumbling and unclear explanation for the discrepancies.

Terrible experience! The cashier was visibly sick and coughing on her hands before packing food into bags and handing them to customers. I saw her do this twice, so I asked her to wash her hands before taking my order. She responded with a sarcastic remark and went to the back to chat with the cook, who was laughing along with her. I decided to walk away. It's hard to trust restaurants these days, especially those that don't seem to prioritize cleanliness.

I really enjoyed my visit! It's been a while since I've had a delicious Kerby's Koney dog, and it was just as fantastic as I remembered. The onion rings were excellent as well!

I was waiting in line with my one year old son and 2 year old niece to get hotdogs for them when the worker told me I had to get out of line because they are closed. Even though I had already been waiting in line for several minutes and it was only 5:20 I was still told to back out of the line. Its very clearly listed that they close at 6:00pm not 5:20pm. All of the other restaurants were still serving customers and had people in their lines. The other customers were so disturbed by the rudeness that they added my son and nieces hotdogs to their order. After a fun day at the aquarium they really ended the day with horrible experience. Their management needs to work on training their employees to have some compassion and how to provide customer service.

My kids first time to try a koney as we aren’t from here. There was no wow factor but they are glad they tried what is so popular out here. My son said it was no different than a regular hot dog. They did add some chili, mustard and onions which added more taste to the hot dog. He did like the onions that added crunch to the hot dog. He did like the fries as he said there was flavor and was of decent portion.
