I think they should mention that some of the chicken flours contain bones as my partner has eaten almost one. Overall well appreciated and both meals were great, service a bit slow considering how busy they were, but would enjoy again. The second time here. Same order, once again excellent.
We three had the sharing bbq board so that everyone can try out different thing. perfer the lamb and pork, bird were a bit dried out, beef are not bad too. the bbq board come with chicken gravy.
Came by for lunch on Sunday. The dining area is quite large, particularly around the back but we opted for a table near the doors and kitchen. The rotisserie chicken looked amazing as did quite a few of their menu items like the duck and the lamb shoulder. Wanting to try a bit of everything we got the Rotisserie Tasting Board. I also had a pina colada smoothie which was ok but tasted mostly of banana. The platter was decently sized and looked good. Unfortunately, most of the meats were very dry. some had sauces on top but didn't really help. The gravy did but it made everything taste the same. It would've been nice to also have small labels to tell us which meats were what even though we were able to figure it out eventually. Also would have been nice to have a side of some sort like fries or bread, as it only had stuffing which wasn't meat. Although the service was good, the food was quite the letdown.
Decided to take a gamble on a new place this Sunday. Walking in the atmosphere was relaxed but awkward as we and another couple hovered waiting to be seated. After being seated service was prompt but one waitress of the 3 that served at us at various points was very blunt and snarky. While serving food she essentially threw the plates down and a few fries were lost. But whatever we all have bad days. I'm gluten intolerant so asked about the pumpkin salad being gluten free to which I was told it was. I ordered this. Yes you could say it was my fault for not googling Farro (the grain used in the salad) but I had assumed it would be okay like oats or brown rice with only minimal cross contamination. I'm not coeliac only sensitive so this didn't bother me. Unfortunately both the waitress and I were wrong. The meal was delicious and I enjoyed it thoroughly and was keen to return at a future date but unfortunately today has been physically uncomfortable to say the least. The grain is essentially wheat. If you want you can look up symptoms of gluten intolerance to get an idea of what I've been experiencing today as the result of this. I really hope that your staff receive better training on gluten intolerance and coeliac disease.
Came this afternoon and ordered a beef burger (Need to pay additional $2 for the lettuce which is annoying around $20 in total). The beef is solid, and I liked the combination between beef and mozerella cheese. Not a big fan with the pickle, it's a bit bitter. Good atmosphere, but does feel a bit pricey compared to what's offered.
