Bidra med feedbackBig fan of Grand Harbour. We’ve come here as a family ever since I was young, and it’s been a staple. Portions are on the smaller side, but it’s dim sum and big portions aren’t the name of the game anyway.<br/ <br/ Personal favourite is the cow stomach!
I remember coming to this place a lot with my family when I was little for dinner. We decided to come here for fathers day for yumcha. The place definitely had a wider range of dimsum than most yumcha places I've been to, and the place is absolutely packed. <br/ <br/ The parking situation is quite nightmarish we parked next door (because there wasn't much option to do otherwise) and it was $18 for 1.5 hours it might be cheaper to park in downtown parking and then take a little walk over in all honesty.<br/ <br/ As with most other reviews, the place is definitely more expensive than your usual Chinese restaurant and has slightly better quality. The service isn't the best one waitress in particular is very snappy and rude can definitely be a little off putting but generally the staff are quite polite and helpful.<br/ <br/ I really enjoyed the soft shell crab it's not often that you can find this at yumcha places (or maybe I'm just going to the wrong ones)<br/ <br/ Ambience 4/5<br/ Service 3/5<br/ Food 4/5<br/ Price 3.5/5
Quite fancy, quality of food is high but does lack slightly in portion size compared to the price. Otherwise great place to being guests as you can be assured the food won't disappoint.
Along with grand park, definitely one of the better yum cha places around town. Prices are a little on the more expensive side. The salt and pepper crab was one of the highlights with the taro dumplings.
Grand harbour is a white business mans paradise.... <br/ the yum Cha here is pretty good one of the best in Auckland, but man is it overpriced!<br/ I’d say, unless you lived in the area, I would bother driving out to make the special trip.<br/ The dumbs are great though.... but it’s also very hard not to stumble across a tasty lil’ dumpling in Auckland....<br/
