La Rosa - Auckland

Well established Italian restaurant in Glen Eden. This is a popular spot so it is recommended to book using their easy online booking system. Nicely greeted at the desk and shown to the table straight away. Waitress was attentive and explained specials. Order efficiently taken and meals came out quickly. Well presented and generous portion size. Meals were delicious. Definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

A few rowdy people on the night we visited but the service and food surpassed this echo and disturbance. Absolutely loved the service from entering to leaving. The chef cooked my steak to perfection.. plus all trimmings. Cocktail was next level, on point. Would definitely be back.

I have been to this restaurant twice now and they have delivered beautiful dishes of generous portion sizes both times. In my latest visit, I would highly recommend the Maiale and the parfait. They were such stand out dishes! The gorgonzola pizza was well-executed allowing all flavours to take the stage. The gamberi was also nice, but definitely needing the bread to soak up slightly heavy salted garlic/herb oil. I’d prefer the ragu to have a bit more depth of flavour, also. Overall a great experience and addition to good West Auckland spots. Lovely service and great ambiance. I would recommend to book just in case it gets quite busy (which was the case in my last visits).

Most amazing staff, the food was incredible and the atmosphere was cozy and bustling but not overpowering or too loud, definitely well worth coming here and I will absolutely be back, many thanks to the wait staff and kitchen staff for the amazing service and fantastic food! Highly recommend

I dunno where my review went but I've definitely written before about how great this restaurant is. Any special occasion we have, we always go to La Rosa. This is Italian at its best and we've been to many. Three words to sum it all up...VERY LOVELY DELICIOUS! Hang on that's four ;
