Narm Thong Thai - Auckland

I recently hosted an anniversary party at this restaurant and the service and food were excellent. I highly recommend it as it never fails to impress.

The food at this restaurant is delicious and far superior to other Thai restaurants I have visited. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The Pad Thai was outstanding, and the curry was also excellent.

Good place to eat but dont come here on a busy day or else you will starve. Came here on a buffet night at 7.30pm, hardly any food left. We ended up ordering from the menu. Water and beverage came fast. Service ok, the guy is on to it but girls are getting through the evening. Food is really good, must try the fish 52 on the menu. They need air conditioning as the place is cozy and the smell gets to you when its crowed. I would eat here cz its my local and they play soothing music but on buffet nights as you would expect it's a fish market and people sitting in groups have no consideration of other dinners. I suggest call and check first before booking a table if they got group bookings. <br/

It was pretty empty when we came though it was a bit unconventional to dine out on a Wednesday night at around 8pm. Had some great pad thai here : very filling and flavourful I especially loved the caramelised red onion throughout. Definitely recommend prawn over the chicken version as chicken is a little big tough. Curry puffs were also delicious great pastry! Just a good neighbourhood Thai place, standard Thai food prices so not a cheap eat. Would be great for family gatherings. We tried their buffet and I typically don't enjoy buffets, but their buffet was the perfect dinner choice for families with children like us. They had many kid-friendly options like spring rolls, squid rings, noodles, and fried rice. The stir fry had plenty of delicious crunchy vegetables and the salad was great. The atmosphere was lovely and the service was excellent. We will definitely be trying their menu next time.
