Mcalister's Deli - Augusta

Here there is an initially large selection of food. Mostly sandwiches, soups and the like, with pleasant surprises like Nachos, which seem a little out of place. The salads are MASSIVE!! The chef's salad is a meal for himself, which is best shared between two people if you want space for everything else. The staff is energetic and friendly, and the service was always great when we are gone.

The sandwiches are better than some other famous name sandwich restaurants. The portions are decent, and the ingredients seem fresh. The French Onion soup was delicious, as was the BLT-A. I recommend, and would go more often if it was closer to home.

Have not been to a Mcalister's in over a decade. I decided to give it a try since pregnancy craving has been club sandwiches. My 1st experience consisted of good food, but missing item, and just a rocky start. We were going to still give it another chance as the food was great, and everyone makes mistakes. I spoke with the manager about it and she went way over and beyond than I expected to correct the issue. Went back tonight and everything was absolutely amazing. Very good experience and I 100% recommend.

The service here is the best that I’ve had since coming to Augusta. All of the employees are so sweet and continuously go around to make sure your meal is good and to see if you need anything else or refills. The food is amazing too on top of the good service. The jalapeño turkey crunch is mad good.

Cashier was very nice, she was new but had great customer service. Lots of seating options. Food was delicious! Lots to chose from. Hubby had soup (chicken dumplings) and is still talking about how good it was, 3 days later. The drinks are a great size! Usually we go through so many refills. Overall great experience we will definitely go again when in the area.
