Pei Wei Asian Express - Augusta

I have never eaten at this restaurant before so I decided to go with the 3 Item Combo. First, Id like to say there was a ton of food; way more than I was expecting. But, because I got the 3 Item Combo, I decided to be a little adventurous and get two dishes I had never tried before, coconut curry chicken and burbon chicken. I also got two of my favorites, orange chicken and noodles. I loved the burbon chicken. the noodles were dry and not very flavorful, disappointing. the orange chicken was okay, not awful but not special. and I hated the coconut curry chicken. I was expecting more Thai and more curry and it just tasted like coconut. and, maybe thats how its supposed to taste; like I said, I had never tried the dish before. for those that like coconut curry chicken, it could be the best in Augusta, I have no idea. but, I didnt like it. overall, it was not a restaurant Im going to order from again. but I will absolutely admit that it was a ton of food for a reasonable price.

I enjoyed a generous portion of food. I ordered the firecracker chicken, bourbon chicken, and Mongolian steak. Everything tasted amazing, but the firecracker chicken was definitely my favorite.

I absolutely loved the food! The orange chicken was fantastic, and the Mongolian beef was incredible. I discovered this restaurant on DoorDash and had never noticed it while I was out, but I will definitely be ordering from them again. The portion sizes were surprisingly generous, and I was really impressed. I will definitely be returning!

This was our first visit to the restaurant, and unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with the orange chicken; I've had better elsewhere. The sesame chicken was decent, but again, I've tasted better. I did enjoy the bourbon chicken, which was my first experience with that dish, so I can't compare it to anything else. The fried rice was acceptable, but it lacked the flavor I was hoping for. I also didn't care for the egg rolls. Overall, I think I will stick with my regular spot for this type of cuisine.
