Crepestar Dessert Cafe Bistro - Aurora

This is a great place for a late-night snack if you're in the mood for something sweet or savory. It's a dessert spot that also features Vietnamese cuisine. I ordered the Caramel Banana Supreme in a crepe and rated it 5/5 — definitely shareable! You can choose to have it in a crepe, waffle, or funnel cake. The crepes and waffles are made in-house, while the funnel cake is pre-made and just warmed up. The restaurant has a spacious atmosphere and offers board games, as well as a "take one, leave one" book section.

I was thrilled to discover a restaurant that offers a variety of options for those craving sweets or looking for a light meal, which is perfect for groups with diverse preferences. I appreciated their gluten-friendly waffles and crepes, along with alternative milk choices like soy and almond. The service was impressively quick, and we had no complaints about the taste or quality of our meals. Although there wasn’t a kids' menu, they happily provided us with an ice cream option and toppings that delighted the children. We will definitely return. *Update: they have introduced a new menu after merging with a Vietnamese restaurant. The pho was fantastic, and the rice plates and veggie bao were equally delicious!

Later, we ordered a waffle with ice cream toppings and sauce, which was also very tasty. The prices are reasonable, and the wait staff are polite and very helpful. Additionally, there are games to play, making it a fun place for family gatherings, kids, and teenagers. Enjoy your visit!

Huge offering of food, including savouries and sweets of cakes, crepes, and waffles with ice cream! 5/5 for the dessert crepe: We tried the praline crepe and it was absolutely delicious, definitely recommend! 4/5 for the savouries: The savouries we got (pho, pesto chicken crepe were decent but nothing to write home about. There were some board games available for patrons, we didn't play any, but the website says they are $5 to play (which is, I am assuming, for the extra work and cleaning supplies. 3/5 I also got a Steaming London, which should be Earl Grey with milk and vanilla, but it was English Breakfast (as per the tea bag tag and I didn't taste any vanilla. 5/5 Family/kid-friendly as they brought out a small bowl with scissors to cut the food for our toddler without us asking. Very considerate of families with children.

Love the ambience of the place along with the service of the staff. They also have a great choice of board games to spend time with family and friends. Their choice of waffles and crepes are amazing but I do personally love their funnel cake, butter chicken crepe! Also great location in the quaint town of Aurora!
