Alc Steaks - Austin

Love this place, it is one of my go to spots to enjoy great food from steaks to the sea food, all delicious choices. Great for date nights or get togethers.

The steaks were fine but the snapper was inedible We were served our main course before we finished our salads We were celebrating two birthdays and no one mentioned anything T he food was served hot and it was tasty.

Never disappoints. Have been going there for over 25 years, for special occasions or just a very nice comfortable meal with excellent food and service. Glad it has not become a “trendy” restaurant. Just a classy place with excellent everything.

The food was awful. The caesar salad dressing was very overpowering, the shrimp in the shrimp cocktail were over cooked and tough, the filet mignon was not cooked evenly, half was well done and the other half was medium. I ordered it medium rare. The baked potato was watery and inedible. The lobster tail was over cooked. All in all, it was just a bad food experience for my birthday dinner.

Excellent! For as long as we have lived in Austin, I have no clue why we've never been to ALC. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. We will definitely be back. Kudos to our server Michael!
